Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Tax Accountant to join our growing team in Maitland, FL. As a Staff Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in assisting with tax preparation and related financial services for our clients. Duties:

- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, including federal and state filings

- Conduct tax research to stay current with tax laws and regulations

- Review financial statements and records to ensure accuracy

- Assist senior accountants and partners in various accounting and tax-related projects

- Collaborate with team members to insure timely and accurate delivery of services

Requirements:

- Must be in office five days a week

- CPA certification or eligibility preferred but not required

- 1-2 years of experience in tax accounting

- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

- Proficiency in tax and accounting software (e.g., Quickooks, Intuit ProConnect, etc)

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail oriented and highly organized
